ZIMBABWEAN President Emmerson Mnangagwa has proclaimed the 9th December 2023 as the day for the
by-elections following the recall of 15 Citizens Coalition for Change(CCC) legislators by the party's Interim Secretary Sengezo Tshabangu.
The nomination Court will sit on November 7 2023.
ZANC will contest in these by-elections and the party promised to grab this opportunity with both hands. This is a great opportunity for the people of Zimbabwe to give ZANC, a visionary,
professional and listening party whose mission is to change the lives of the people of Zimbabwe, a chance to stand for them and be their voice in parliament.

ZIMBABWE African National Congress(ZANC) Deputy Leader Zukee Gumbo says their party is ready to contest in the 2028 general elections and he believes that their Council and House of Assembly candidates stands a fair chance at
winning in Bulawayo as none of the two major parties in the country haven't done any major developments.
Formed in 2019, ZANC will be contesting for the first time in the Presidential elections.
Speaking from his South African base, Zukee Gumbo said:
"Zimbabweans need change, they need something different, the people that have been put in power over the years
have not done any good for the people of Zimbabwe.
ZANC has got fresh ideas that are realistic with the challenges fsced by ordinary Zimbabweans," said Gumbo
He alluded that if his party is voted into power, his Government will push for the removal of sanctions, be transparent, revive the industries and develop the infrastructure.
Unemployment is the chief factor stimulating the rise in theft and drug abuse, Gumbo said unemployed youths are at the centre of their plans as the youths are the backbone of the country.
"As the saying goes 'an idle mind is the devil's playground', drugs are crippling our youth, our young people need ways of earning money and as ZANC we can offer skills training for
them to kick start their goals. We plan to revive all the youth centres that have been lying idle and use them as skills training centres
and also offer sports and arts as a way of getting the youth off the streets and using their talents to make a living"
